Firelight Gathering 2025: August 14th – 17th, 2025

Firelight Gathering is a wee Pagan festival that takes place August 14th – 17th, 2025, now in its 11th year.

Firelight Gathering takes place at the Whispering Pines campground (Curran, Ontario), which is about an hour east of Ottawa and 1.5 hours west of Montreal. Our festival features camping, vendors, workshops, a bardic, a community potluck, a beach, a pond, and we might even get the fae to serve us tea and biscuits in a mystical Fairy Garden!

If you’ve never been to a Pagan festival before, it can be easier to start with a small one. So come and try ours!

If you pre-register now, you get to save a few bucks on the registration (that you can then spend on the vendors). Pre-reg is open until the week of Firelight Gathering (August 10th), so book your spot now and we’ll see beneath the Pines and in the glow of the Firelight! After the pre-registration closes, you can pay your festival fees on-site, but in cash only.

Normally by now, the Firelight Gathering pre-registration would have been announced and promoted. I was all set to do then when…

My appendix ruptured, sending me to emergency surgery and a week-long hospital stay, followed by a few weeks of rest and recovery.

As I’m writing this post, it’s been 1.5 weeks since the rupture and the healing is progressing nicely. But today is the first day I can sit at my laptop semi-comfortably. Hence, I’m catching up on emails, notifications, and coordinating with FG staff.

The long and the short of it is is that Firelight Gathering 2025 IS ON. In the next few days, I should get all my ducks in order and open the pre-registration to get ready for the festival itself.
