My appendix ruptured, sending me to emergency surgery and a week-long hospital stay, followed by a few weeks of rest and recovery.

As I’m writing this post, it’s been 1.5 weeks since the rupture and the healing is progressing nicely. But today is the first day I can sit at my laptop semi-comfortably. Hence, I’m catching up on emails, notifications, and coordinating with FG staff.

The long and the short of it is is that Firelight Gathering 2025 IS ON. In the next few days, I should get all my ducks in order and open the pre-registration to get ready for the festival itself.
